Break In

My house got broke in yesterday. FUCKING HELL.... I lost my bike to that no good son of a bitch. That mother fucker stole by bike... Although I got it for free, but yet, stealing from me?? I wish I can catch that mother fucker and beat him up like this....



Well, we were actually planning to catch the thief again, by luring him to steal again. Perhaps by tempting him with another bicycle. Feel like knocking him with a car and drag him into my house.

I so wanted to torture these little white kids. I think the best and easiest way of torturing him is not to beat him up, but STARVATION.... Just rope him up for 3 days straight with no food in a cellar.

He will struggle for the first 2 days. Later, he'll realise that there's no point in struggling and soon he'll give up his will to escape. Years later, he'll lose his will to live and started acting like a zombie.... Haha....

Credit Crunch in Engineering

I'm starting to see more and more effects of the CREDIT CRUNCH in Britain!!! It's crawling nearer and nearer to me. And now, it's hitting some people around me.

Ok. This afternoon, I've just heard news that two of our competitors (Atkins and White Young Green) are going to shut down their local office (in Cardiff). Well, they're engineering consultants for those who're not familiar. Is that a good sign??? Hmm... What do you think?

Well, them shutting down will mean we get a bigger share of the regional market. However, that's also a sign that there isn't enough work for everyone. Meaning, the market had shrinked in size.

So in this current economic climate, what sort of precaution have my company taken. Directors have been convincing us that the company is strong and robust and blah blah blah.... And we have not hired or fired anyone until now. So, their plan/strategy, is to ask employees (like me) to work some unpaid overtime. Hmm.... He said " As long as everyone chip in (sacrifice) a little, we will shelter this crisis, and we will be strong in the regional market... blah blah blah..."

Well, I don't own the company. I don't even have any shares in it. Why should I work for free??? I'm still not convinced to work for free.

I wonder what will happen 6 months later. Economist have been comparing the credit crunch with the Great Depression in 1937...

Cold winter

It's so fucking cold here today. It started snowing in Manchester, Leeds, North Wales and even london. But not here in Cardiff. Haha... But anyway, it's still cold!!!! Too cold to bother do anything....

Those of you who like it here because it's cold, it's 0 degree celsius already. It means the water in the streets are frozen and slippery.

It means the air here is dry (Most of the moisture content freeze and dry). It means your lips are all cracked.

Not those lips... Hmmm.... not sure if they'll dry out...

I mean these lips....

If you really wanna know how cold it is over here, go to the freezer, look at the frozen chicken. Touch it, and this is how cold my hands are. Now imagine yourself as the chicken in the freezer for a few months. Haha...

If you're homeless here, and you might get one of these... Frost Bites....

Look at the black finger tips... It's called frost bites... This is what you get if you sleep in the streets if you wear torn socks and shoes.

This is how cruel winter is... It's not fun, it's fucked!!! And I'm now sick again, so I'm on sick leave tomorrow. Woohoo....!!! :D

Rugby

Today is a big day in Cardiff City.... There's a rugby game in the stadium tonight... Wales vs. Canada...



The special thing about Cardiff and rugby, is that the whole city gets involve in it. The locals will wear their red jersey (for Wales) and start drinking in local pubs until they get really drunk. They then march to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff city centre, while singing their song....

The roads will then be jammed and packed with cars... Several roads will be closed so that the rugby fans can get into the stadium safely... Police will be around the city just to secure everything.... Bus services to the city centre will be cancelled for no reasons.... What the Fuck is going on this city...


Since the buses are not entering the city centre, I'll have to walk back home after doing my groceries... SHIT!!! I have to walk Bloody 2km with 2 bags of rice and hell lot of foods just to get back home... Argh.....


After the game, the rugby fans will start fooling around in the streets... Go to pubs for another round of beer, rugby tackle in the streets... fight.... get arrested by the police... piss on the street...etc.. (I hope you guys get the picture of how British really behave)
The streets is then left with broken glasses and urine. Ambulance will also be there, just to take care of the drunks, not that anyone got injured.... What a joke....

Dono what to write

Today is one of the many boring days in Britain.... same old routine schedule.... So today, I'm gonna write my routine in Cardiff...

7.00am.... wake up and shower

7.20am.... Check email and blog

7.50am.... Drink coffee and have breakfast

8.10am.... Smoke a ciggarette and walk to the office/ Take the bus if it rains

8.40am.... Reach the office and ask any of my colleagues the same question "Good weekend"

1.00pm.... Smoke a ciggarette and go to Cardiff Uni and order a budget meal (2.60 pounds)

1.20pm.... Return to office and read the news

2.00pm.... Continue with my work

5.30pm.... Smoke a ciggarette and walk back to my house/ grocery shopping and take the bus back

6.00pm.... Get change and prepare dinner

7.00pm.... Eat my dinner with my housemates and chat with them

8.30pm.... Write my blog

9.30pm.... Read a book/ watch a movie

11.30pm.... Go to bed

The cycle repeats itself over and over again until every Friday.... I'm trying to beat the cycle cycle everyday by trying to invite friends to come over for dinner, but not everyone is free or willing to come for dinner.... Sigh.... Things are so different from Kepong...

Sometimes I wish something will happen to me.... whether it's good or bad... at least something....

Anyone mind sharing your routine lifestyle???

Really ill

I'm ill today... Been forced to take 1/2 day leave today... My colleague started making noise of me spreading all the germs in the office.... Fucking hell....

I'm fine working as usual... just that I'm feeling a bit tired and keep on sneezing... But I'm still capable of carrying out my job... How can my company force me to take leave... Fucking hell.... My colleagues should understand that I'm different from them... I can 'tahan mati'... not like the brits here.... Taking sick leave even for some fucking paper cut...

Even if I take leave, it's not going to make me feel any better... I'm just going to stay at home doing nothing... I'm not gonna see a doctor... because doctors here don't have ethics... Even if you're sick, they'll still need you to make an appointment with them... What the Fuck is this....

I think the best thing for me to do is just get some rest and eat more ginger. Anyone has any recommendation??

You guys may laugh at me for being childish... But I think this is a cool piece of machine... This unit here is called the Moog 230X.... It's an underbridge unit... This heavy mother fucker weighs 33T...

Anyway, I was surprise to know that the operator to this machine can actually steer and control the whole vehicle remotely... How cool is that... He steers the whole truck while we're underneath the bridge by using cameras only..... His visibility is only 3m....What the fuck!!!... Haha... I like this machine....
